My Own Friday The 13th
Well "technically" it's 14th of June when it happened, a Saturday. On my way home after supper and a LONG talk with my friend, I drove back from her house suitably happy that the day went well and I just passed all my exams. Then as I locked my car door, the windows suddenly winded down by themselves!!! Ok that was around 4.30am in the morning, I freaked out. By the way, I live opposite Mount. Vernon Cemetary.
Ok so I frantically hammered away at the window close button, all but one window closed up. Great it's jammed! I called by then sleeping dad to come help me out. Never, I mean really never ever wake up your dad when his asleep and his car window won't wind down. Well, I got an earful from him, something about waking him up in the middle of the night and coming back home so late plus messing up his car. The old man just got in unlocked the safety child-window lock and pressed the button and POOF! window closed! I mean how the hell was I to know the damned Merc had a child safety lock??? My dad continued with the naggings all the way up to the house.
Talk about bad luck! It's probably gonna take a miracle for my dad to allow me to use the car again...
