Vesak Day Blues
Went clubbing last night, what a pain. Talk about the government's implementation of "Step Out, Singapore" really taking off. Last night was overkill. Drove down to Mohd Sultan with the girls around 10 hoping to get in on Double O's hot ladies' night freeflow action. But what did I see? a queue snaking from the main entrance all the way to Newsroom Pub.
Ok so Double O was out of the question, we looked around the area. *Zlitch* Mdm Wong had a line all the way to illusion!!! And every pub along the street was packed.Plans foiled, we packed off to Zouk. It was even better there, no line, no queue, no start, no end, just a really large mob of angry, hot and rowdy crowd of patrons rushing to get in. While my friends joined the mob, I happened to meet more than a handful of old buddies there too, the wait wasn't so bad, I stood there and chatted for a good 1 hour. After what seemed like an eternity, we gave up, one of the girls suggested Mdm Wong2, cause she had inside info that it was still quite empty!!!
Sure enough, at Mdm Wong2 there wasn't even a queue in sight, although inside was packed with people. We got down to business immediately. "Get Drinks, Get High, & Hit the DanceFloor" We had 2 jugs of Vodka Ribena, numerous shots of Vodka 7-up and Lime. I blew off almost $100 on that episode...*Heartache* So we finally did what we had planned and before I knew it, it was closing time. Drove the girls back, thank god they all live in the area, had supper with the last one and had some ACTION *hehehe...*
Well that concludes my Vesak Eve Report on Clubbing right here in Singapore.
Final word of advice, always go early when you want to club, better yet, stand outside even before the club opens.
And when receiving ACTION, make sure your seat belts are undone.
