Reason

I’m sitting here and its like freaking 3.40am on a Good Friday morning, can’t really sleep, tonnes of things bouncing around in my mind…hmm… where shall I start? Ok my life has started to settle down…well sort of. I finally downloaded Hoobastank’s The Reason! Woohoo being dying to get it for like months, but due to my audio inactivity I never really found out who sang this.

My sport magazine is doing reasonably well, better than we hoped, though there were a couple of screw ups that needed to be ironed out. Lionel is taking flight end of this week, I’m entrusted with the mag, and to be frank it sends jitters down my spine. How the f**k am I supposed to fill his shoes?! And just today I learnt my good buddy/colleague Ben might migrate as well. Nice. Now the ship will surely sink together with me in it. Well, maybe not…I won’t let it sink just yet, if it does at least I’m taking a few others down with me >:)

Rod gave a nice little promo speech today on Class95 that was unexpected but that brought a smile to Ben and Me, nice guy he did that without us even asking him to. Owe you one Rod! Brought another Ben (Big-time Triathlete) to Tommy the gay spa groomer today, and got some hair removal done, it was hilarious! Had a great time talking to Ben as well, here’s a 24-year old with vision! I wished all the peeps I interviewed were like him.

We had a soft launch of our mag at Ngee Ann City last week at some cocked up event called SportsKaki, needless to say it BOMBED big time, the event sucked and so did the organizers. I took some pics below of the babes I saw, just a small sample to whet your appetites! Other than ogling I spent most of my 15 hours there swatting flies. And the best part? Day 2 we packed up and left even before half time. Bullocks to SportsKaki!, Suck my grits!

I like my job, flexi hours and the freedom to do whatever I want when I want! I like this new found control I have over my life, the ability to take off whenever I want to, meeting new people everyday, seeing new stuff and watching fast cars, oh… not to mention the babes! Sure I work till 8pm on average, but it doesn’t feel long at all, the ambient is just so relaxed! Damnit, I must have been listening to The Reason for like 20 plus times by now…just love the lyrics they mean a lot to me, perhaps they even describe some of my feelings.
