Ok ok, don’t get a hernia just because I havn’t been blogging since errr…2 weeks ago? Anyway I did like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!! It’s 2005!!!
2004 ended on a sour note, with the 9.0 Richter scale quake that created tsunamis along the western coasts of Indonesia and Malaysia, south-west tips of Thailand (Phuket) and rocked the whole of Sri Lanka. My thoughts and prayers go out to the millions affected by the disaster.
Ok back to something more self-centered. Me. My birthday went reasonably smooth, I dined out with my family and Erin and I got 2 BIG BIG Hong Baos from them!!! =P As you can see from the pictures below, yes I now am the proud owner of a black Getz! The first few days were horrid; I had to get back the feel of manual transmission and the overall feel of the car. After that everything sort of fell into place, and I was cruising down ECP without a hitch!
I celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Eve with Erin. We went to watch KungFu Hustle on the 24th and Meet the Fockers on the 25th of Dec. Stephen Chow is good…so good I could almost cry! He blew me away with the eye popping CGI and made me laugh so hard my belly ached with his toilet humour! 5/5!!! Meet the Fockers on the other hand was lame! I kept comparing it to the first show and ended up let down and disappointed…there is no chemistry between the cast at all! And the plot? Its Crap!. 1/5!
I caught Ocean’s Twelve as well…I think I should have watched the first show, because half the time I had no idea what the whole cast were referring to or talking about! I was clueless! There was no exploration of their characters nor personalities. I came out going “huh?” bad bad show…2/5.
Anyway I did like to take this moment to tell my girlfriend Erin, please take care, and I love you. We will go through this together…Muackz Muackz Muackz!!!
